Dr. Jessie Shayevitz joined our staff in August, 2013. She told her parents when she was nine years old that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and has been caring for animals ever since. Dr. Shayevitz graduated from Connecticut College in 1982 with a BA in Zoology, and then received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She is an enthusiastic equestrian, and enjoys riding her horse as often as possible. She enjoys spending her remaining free time with her songs; Noah and Sam, her four legged fur children; Lily, Ziva, Rumple, Lucy, as well as her husband Dr. Robert Kellman.
